          Sonali Bendre (born 1 January ) is an Indian actress, primarily known for her work in Hindi and Telugu films.

          Bendre did modelling assignments prior to making her acting debut with Aag (), which won her the Filmfare Award for New Face of the Year.

          Bendre played the leading lady in such commercially successful films as Diljale (), Major Saab (), Sarfarosh () and Hum Saath Saath Hain ().
